Company Profile

Jiangsu Linhai Power Machinery Group Corp.(hereafter ”Linhai“), a state-owned enterprise underling SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council), is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Foma (Group) Co., Ltd. that is subordinate to China National Machinery Industry Corporation.

LINHAI founded in1956 which has a history of more than fifty years in the development and production of small engines and power machinery. Linhai has a state-recognized enterprise technology center, a national postdoctoral research station, nationwide top-ranking manufacturing execution systems consisting of more than forty specialized and flexible production lines, and as well as a team of experienced professional and technical personnel of high level, LINHAI possesses great capability of product development and manufacture.

Linhai has successively developed a variety of types of two-stroke and four- stroke gasoline engines and the ancillary power machinery, the displacement of which are from 26 cc to 700 cc. Its main products include special vehicles as ATVs and UTVs, general-purpose engines, mini gasoline generating sets and the affiliated small power machinery such as pumps, chain saws, pneumatic extinguishers and bush cutters, involving forestry machinery, gardening equipment and fire fighting machinery, and motorcycles, motorcycle engines, electric bikes and so on.

The leading products are identified as “National Consumer-Satisfied Product” by the Consumer Committee of China Association for Quality as their quality is kept in the domestic advanced level. The brand LINHAI is awarded such titles as Key Protected Product of Jiangsu Province and Jiangsu Well-Known Trademark. The corporation has passed the certifications of Quality Management System ISO9001: 2008, Measurement Management System ISO10012, Environment Management System ISO14001 and China Compulsory Certification. Some of the products have obtained European EEC and CE certificates and EPA and CARB certificates of the US. And the products command a ready sale in domestic market and are exported overseas.

Linhai is the vice-director unit of Motorcycle Branch of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the group-leader unit of China National All-terrain Vehicle Sector. 2013

In May, the new plant for the project of expected annual output of one million sets of electric bike went into operation.

2012

On Mar. 18, foundation stone laying ceremony of one million electric-bike project was held in Taizhou New Energy Industrial Park.

2011

Trademark “LINHAI” was identified as “China Well-Known Trademark” In May.

2010

Linhai has establishment of a national postdoctoral research station in Sep.

2008

Linhai was identified state-recognized enterprise technology center in Oct.

2007

Up until Sep., exports of gasoline engines 1P65F topped one million sets, being the first product of the same model that broke the export record in the history of Linhai.

2006

Linhai has held 50th anniversary celebration on Dec. 10.

2005

Value of export of Linhai was one hundred million US dollars for the first time, up to 816.68 million China Yuan.

2004

Joint venture Jiangsu Lianhai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. was set up by Linhai and the merchants from the United States, Italy and France.

1998

Linhai had cumulatively manufactured and sold one million motorcycles YL100(1E52FM) up until 1998.

1997

Linhai Co., Ltd. was founded and Linhai stock came into the market at the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

1995

Linhai became one of China’s largest designated production enterprises of motorcycle engines.

1994

Linhai joint-ventured with Japan’s Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. And Sino-Japanese Joint Venture of Jiangsu Linhai-Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. was set up.

1986

Linhai has developed completely localized motorcycle engine of 100cc.

1965

Linhai has developed the first domestic gasoline engine 172F, which was later improved into 175F gasoline engine, and won the national silver medal.

1961

Linhai has incorporated into the Ministry of Forestry and became directly subordinate of it.
